Scott and I love this place! Caffe Umbria is my favorite coffee, and Heather, Brianna and staff are always friendly and make excellent espresso drinks. Seriously the best espresso on the island!

In the past, I have generally frequented the coffee stands on the island a similar amount. However, over the last year, I have found myself enjoying my morning coffee here more and more often. Yes, the coffee is amazing. It’s very consistent and is always correct despite how many drinks I order. Sometimes I’ve had convenience win out and I go somewhere closer to my house. The last year through pregnancy, postpartum, and having new dietary restrictions because of breastfeeding and gallstones the biggest thing that has been motivating the extra minutes tacked on to my drive is the baristas KINDNESS. I don’t have a personal relationship with them outside of this coffee stand but I have felt cared for and respected during this time. They have read me ingredient labels on multiple occasions and I feel like I can ask questions without feeling like a burden. I’m impressed with their speed and grace. Thanks ladies, I really appreciate that you care and do a good job!!

Good tasting coffee here. Umbria coffee tastes great. They are not stingy with the coffee either. Lots of taste and price is good. Probably one of the very best espresso drive throughs on Whidby Island. Friendly and organized Baristas, too. Get you in and out quickly back on the .road
